Problem is access and sql server are on different servers. When trying to specify details for access db, we have the option of choosing the physical path for the db, we cannot provide ip address or something. So I am using ftp to transfer the access db from the server on to a temp directory on sql db server. But when I provide the ftp site details, username and password I get a message saying " Unable to connect to internet! please check the source site information, your username and password." Actually i have enabled anonymous access to the ftp server. Hope any buddy out there might have faced the same problem and found a solution.
