Hi, You can sort on a particular set of rows inside a datatable by using its 
defaultView. You need not create a new datatable especially for this purpose.    
Method: 1. For the datatable's defaultview, set the rowfilter to select only the 
required rows. assuming ds too be u'r dataset,   
ds.tables(0).defaultview.rowfilter="<<wherecls that selects the reqd. rows>>"   2. For 
the datatable's defaultview, set the "sort" property to the required column.  
ds.tables(0).defaultview.sort="<<your reqd sort order>>"   Now datatable.defaultView 
will give you the reqd. records sorted in the necessary order.   Hope this helps,
