----------------------------------------------------------- From: Swami_SRS Message 9 in Discussion Hi, You can sort on a particular set of rows inside a datatable by using its defaultView. You need not create a new datatable especially for this purpose. Method: 1. For the datatable's defaultview, set the rowfilter to select only the required rows. assuming ds too be u'r dataset, ds.tables(0).defaultview.rowfilter="<<wherecls that selects the reqd. rows>>" 2. For the datatable's defaultview, set the "sort" property to the required column. ds.tables(0).defaultview.sort="<<your reqd sort order>>" Now datatable.defaultView will give you the reqd. records sorted in the necessary order. Hope this helps, Swami. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
