hi i know have implemented thjat pattern but here are my concern:-   i am agree with 
ur sigleton pattern and  indeed repply to singlton pattern  abut my concern is not the 
pattern but how to apply a specific scenario. my simpole question was how can you make 
sure that only one application instance at any time will run thru out the network. 
suppose i ve one apps running in mach1 and i make a shortcut of this app exe to mach2 
now when run the app in mach2 it simply runs where as
 it should not as one instance alraedy ruinnig in mach1 . can you handele this 
situation in singleton if so then how as i tried to apply the same techniques but it 
didnot worked.
thus i had follow a diff approach. hope  you nowundersatnd my concern.   thanks
