the form to a aspx page (or any httphandler or call a web service...) that
updates the database.

for all this to work u have to have a flag (
boolClosed ) and set it to true only when X is clicked or alt+f4 is hit.
postback should happen normally normally. so when
a postback button is clicked the flag should be false...
note that onunload event is fired everytime there a
postback/refresh. it is also fired when u access some other page (by tying a new
url in address bar or by clicking on a link)
