Since I use Kodak Image OCX for intiating the scanning process. Scanning process is too slow. Is there any other OCX is avilable for scaning so that it may make the process more faster. After scanning images are stored in the local system folder and its later saved to server machine along with other details entered. Images scanned are stored in a folder where its path is stored in the DB. Images are scanned as jpg. Usally as years to come the size become too large to handle. IS there is any provsion so that i could save a iamge in zip format at the server and unzip them whenever. Can anyone suggest a better idea for scanning & saving process. Is it will be better for me to save image directly to te server as not there in local machine. Expecting replies.
