----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: bignbullish Message 3 in Discussion Lalit, What you are talking about is perfectly fine ... MSMQ Trigger also can execute a .NET exe. Yes, I've tried that. But I need to work with a component which is not only a part of my application(.NET) but also is the interface to the MSMQ trigger. The advantage here is that i don't need to work with an external executable. So, my approach is to expose one of my .NET component's methods as "COMVisible" which will serve as the point of communication between my .NET application and MSMQ. For this point of communication to remain valid, i need to make sure that there is a single instance of the component when called by either the .NET app or MSMQ. Hope i'm clear. Group, Do suggest any other architecture/design that you think will be helpfull. - bignbullish ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
