what you have to do is call a function that will check if both cells have a value, i 
presume you dont want two cells in the same row to have a value.   you can the change 
event or lostfocus event. In fact the datagrid have many events that fire, using 
onchange can be tricky as the function that will check if data exists in two cells may 
clear the cells and therefore fire another change event :).   Hope this helps....
