----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 4 in Discussion Hi , Thanks for the comment , i actually worked on all this more than a year back , according to me essentially there's no difference as both the things refers to directory services , what actually happens is : Active Directory is MS implementation of Directory services and there are many others like Netscape Directory etc. , each of them have their own different ways in which they are implemented , however all of them are LDAP compliant , which is an internet standard and can be programmatically used to access these directories . Hope it helps , regards , Mrinal ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
