----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 2 in Discussion Hi , Well your query is pretty interesting as you are dynamically forming the query statement inside it , well i am not sure about that but don't feel the need to do that . any case for insert , update statements you need single quotes only if the value is static for ex in case you need to insert value as 2 then it needs to be '2' else if it's in a variable / parameter for e.g: Variable var = 2 andf you insert var then it should be without quotes or otherwise it will not resolve it's value and will try to insert a string .
