----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Manoj-despot Message 5 in Discussion An assembly containing localized resources for another assembly is called Satellite assembely. For eg. if you are creating a multingual app say in English and Japanese, the screen control text, size, location, etc specific to Japanese language is stored in a <formname>.ja.resx. The compiled output is stored in seperate directory under the bin folder. The directory name for japanese is normally "ja". Here the form by default contains one default assem to store all control info, and a seperate satellite assem to store control info specific to Japanese language. So if the curent culture info is set o "ja" then CLR will access the satellite assem, if a particular info like control text is not found the satellite assem then the text found in the default assem will be fetched. Hope this is all you want. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDOTNET/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
