In place of SP1 you will have to use a table valued function. Then the output 
of this table valued function can be assigned to a table variable in your sp2. 
Then you can use this table variable in your join.    In case you don't want to 
use the function, from your first SP, populate a global temp table ( ##tables), 
and use this table to join in SP2. Hope this solves your problem. If u r not
