AutoComplete will call SetAbort only if the exception is not handled. But if you handle the exception you need to call SetAbort if you want to Abort the transaction. Secondly after handling the exception if you are rethrowing the exception than SetAbort will be called else SetComplete will be called. AutoComplete is a little tricky at times ... I personally prefer to handle it manually using SetComplete and SetAbort. Thus if the developer forgets to throw the exception after handling it .. SetComplete will be called thus it better to abort it manually.
