And it effects dropdown, calender etc. If u try this in FireFox or whatever else IE, it will work fine. But it's not at all the solution :) What u will have to do is, either try incrementing the z-index(css property) of menu items or write some code, which finds all the dropdowns under(or above :) in our case ) menu, and make them invisible while displaying the menu.
