Hi, I need to export a datagrid into excel in VB.Net I am writing
following code in export button click event.
Response.Clear ()
Response.Charset = ""
Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel"
Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition",
"inline;filename=""Export_Report.xls""")
Dim sw As System.IO.StringWriter = New System.IO.StringWriter
Dim hw As HtmlTextWriter = New HtmlTextWriter(sw)
dgViewOPID.GridLines = GridLines.Both
dgViewOPID.RenderControl(hw)
Response.Write("" & sw.ToString)
Response.End()
This code is working. But when i click open in dialogbox, the excel is opening
in browser itself.
But i need to open excel application separately.
Could anyone suggest me?
