Lessons Learnt:
I guess most of the folks are well versed with the usage of Crystal Reports.
Here are some lessons I have learnt, which may be helpful for u.
1. CR.NET does not have a full features as of CR 10.x
Be Mindful when going for CR.NET. Make sure it has all the features which
satisfies ur requirements.
2. On Installing 10.x, ur existing reports will be also be upgraded to 10.x.
They show some special characters when u Open the reports. It may corrupt ur
reports as well.
3. Maintaining CR.NET and CR 10.x on the same environment is an up hill task.
4. CR.NET does not have the ability to display HTML text. U got to go for other
CR versions.
For my current problem, After Installing CR 10.x I am still unable to display
HTML text in the crystal reports with Text Interpretation set to "HTML Text".
It shows some HTML tags as it is. Further got to do some manipulation to the
HTML tags in order to display with proper formatting. Smith, Thank's for ur
kind help. HTH, Siva
