Hi, This should solve your problem, i have created a function which will
return you a concatemated message for the given name passed.. select DISTINCT
t2.name
,(select dbo.fn_getMessage(t2.name))
from
temp t2
create function dbo.fn_getMessage
(
@name varchar(200)
)
returns varchar(1000)
AS
BEGIN
Declare @str varchar(200)
SET @str = ''
select @str = @str + message from temp where name like @name
return @str
END
