Hi Shri Try to run the timer in a new thread...
private System.Threading.Timer myTimer
public void StartTimer(int period)
{
{
myTimer = new System.Threading.Timer(callback, null, 0, period);
}
}
// stop the timer .
public void StopTimer()
{
myTimer.Dispose(); //killing the timer
myTimer = null;
}
Get thetime elapsed by DateTime.Now.Second and finding the difference in
seconds between start and stop
