Hi

You can hide the first form. But again if you want to
close your application you have to use the following
code in your second form:

Application.Exit(); //This can be called in the Closed
event of the second form.

Example:

Form1.CS:

        private void button1_Click(object sender,
System.EventArgs e)
                {
                        Form2 form2 = new Form2();
                        form2.Show();
                        this.Visible = false;
                }

Form2.CS:
        private void Form2_Closed(object sender,
System.EventArgs e)
                {
                        Application.Exit();
                }
