Thanks for the response.   But i actually pass the value from class 2 to class 
1 and again i need to retrieve the value that is returned from class1   For EX: 
  class1  
public string DirectorNameFormat(string sTitle) 
{ 
sTitle = sTitle .Replaace("MR","") 
return sTitle; 
} 
sTitle gets the value from class2 
(string)_dsDirector.Tables[0].Rows[0]["Title"] 
Class 2 
Class1 _beDirectorname = new Class1 ; 
_beDirectorname.DirectorNameFormat(( 
(string)_dsDirector.Tables[0].Rows[0]["Title"]) 
Now i need sTitle as "" instead of MR. which is the value that is returned in 
Class1. 
I hope i am clear now. I use Dataset only in Class2 and not in Class1
