----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 4 in Discussion Hi , Let me add something , it is not indiatimes site supporting the javascript in the mail , it's your browser settings , where you can explicitly stop script execution , but problem is many sites use such client side scripting for non harmful purposes and can lead to undesirable functioning of several sites on disabling it . Now i have not tried sending this mail , but if : 1. Your script gets executed immeditaly on opening the mail and i have seen the page created by you , then it's a case simple " Phishing " , where user will be sending username and password to your server instead of indiatimes server and preferably you should refrain from doing so , as there's a major internet fuelled by banks and e bay like companies going on to catch hold of such people , so you could be in soup soon . 2. This is not a big deal as you are not getting password from indiatimes server but from an unaware and ignorant user . 3. Try same on any other site by creating their login page and you will get the same result . 4.
