----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 4 in Discussion Hi , See the Error ORA-12154 that ur getting essentially means your application is not able to resolve the tns alias ( Connect_Identifier) - TOOLDB0 itself in tnsnames.ora but since you are able to connect using SQL Plus , so i do assume that you have tns_admin correctly , but do check up one thing that the directory from where you are executing the .Net application doesn't have any other tnsnames.ora , then it will take up the values from that file , bit of an issue with odp.net , once you remove that file , then it will consider tns_admin location file or add the relevant connect identifier to that file .
