----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 5 in Discussion Hi , I don't have ur code to look into , but what i can guess from the whole scenario is this : DataGrid_Update will get fired only when there's an update to the values of datagrid or it's components and by changing the selected index of a dropdownlist in a datagrid , it's not going to fire update event . Update event fires in cases like you have a textbox , whose value you have manually edited . Also Update event is not the right place for binding the datagrid , here you should refill the changed values into associated dataset as in case of web applications it doesn't get directly committed .
