Hi , i am assuming it's Web based datagrid not winforms , as both of them
totally differ . Now if it's Design time addition then all that u need is in
aspx page where u have : <asp:datagrid > add an item template and add a
dropdown list to it . </asp:datagrid> while running u will get dropdownlist
in that column of datagrid . check out this code to understand what i said :
<asp:DataGrid id="DataGrid1" runat="server"
AutoGenerateColumns="False" OnItemDataBound="DataGrid1_ItemDataBound">
<Columns> <asp:BoundColumn DataField="au_fname" HeaderText="au_fname"
/> <asp:TemplateColumn> <HeaderTemplate>
<asp:DropDownList ID="HeaderDropDown" Runat="server"
AutoPostBack="True"
OnSelectedIndexChanged="DropDown_SelectedIndexChanged" />
</HeaderTemplate> <ItemTemplate> <asp:DropDownList
ID="ItemDropDown" Runat="server"
AutoPostBack="True"
OnSelectedIndexChanged="DropDown_SelectedIndexChanged" />
</ItemTemplate> </asp:TemplateColumn> </Columns> </asp:DataGrid>
Also check out : www.datagridgirl.com for really good examples on web datagrid
and there u will get complete code snippets . hope it helps , Mrinal
