Hello Everyone,
 SQL Server automatically truncates the character fields that has more than the 
length specified in table design, without throwing an error.  How do we acheive 
the same in Integer/Numeric fields?
 If we specify the numeric value more than specified length (Ex: Lenth: 10,0 
Value:123456789012) , that should be truncated from left and updated into the 
field without throwing an error. [Now it is throwing Arthimetic overflow error] 
Any work around for this? Please help me.   Vish
