              Hi,

Button1.Text = Line1\nLine2 will display the same output on
the browser coz \n is a linebreak keyword used my C# and not any
              browser engine.

you have to understand one thing that Server Control render
on the client as HTML controls so Button1.Text = Line1\nLine2
              would be nothing but <input type="submit" name="button1"
value="Line1\nLine2"> know you check it out your self and tell
me how this would display on the browser.

If you use a LinkButton you will get the same control in code
behind and also achieve your task coz it would render a <A
Href>For Multiple Line Text Use <BR>
              tag</A> .

Hope you understand what I am tring to say.

              Happy Programing
