Excellent shashi, Even I came across the same solution which is some what
similar to what you have hinted. Also, I've have either textbox, image (excel
image) and button controls or only a button and excel image along with the
datagrid control on the page. This works fine for me too.... I'm not using
the below two lines
HttpContect.Current.Response.AppendHeader("Content-disposition",
"attachment;filename")
HttpContext.Current.Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel" Can you
please brief out the above lines? Thanks, Gururaj
