Hi All,   I have a table in sql server 2000 containing of 2 columns.
 1. ID      - Numeric  - AutoGenerated
2. Reset   - Char   There are 35,000 records in this table. ID's are 
autogenerate.   I need to update the column Reset to 'X' based on the date 
passed to the query
.i.e 
if the date is 1st July then i need to update Reset Column to 'X' for 1 -  500 
[id] Users .
If the date is 2nd July then i need to update Reset Column to 'X' for 501 - 
1000 [id] Users.
If the date is 3rd July then i need to update Reset Column to 'X' for 1001 - 
1500 [id] Users  
and so on....till i complete updating all the users.
Can any one help me to write the above SP in the best possible manner..
