----------------------------------------------------------- From: sashisme Message 4 in Discussion Hi, What u need to do is, set the timeout for your command. You can do this: sadaSearch.SelectCommand.CommandTimeout = 120; sadaSearch.Fill(dsSearch); Now this would set the timeout of your select command to 120 seconds. You could increase this value, if you still get timeouts. This is a common problem in queries that take a long time to execute. You should also try to optimize your stored proc (or query) or put some indexes on the table so that the retrieval is fast. Let me know if this works. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
