To do so, I followed the following steps. 1. Gave an assmebly keyFile. 2. Provided strong name using sn.exe. 3. Put that in GAC using gacutil -i Assembly name. After that i could enter into c:\winnt\assembly and able to see the assembly which i convert as shared assembly. While I try to open a new application, and try to add that assembly as referenece through add reference, i could not able to find the assembly which i added in the GAC in the list. Can anyone pls help me.
