----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: LovedJohnySmith Message 2 in Discussion Are all HTML messages being displayed incorrectly, or just some? Try sending yourself an HTML message. You can select Format, HTML in the composition window. If that also is displayed wrong, there's likely a problem with your ISP's mail server not supporting MIME. If your own message is OK, there's likely something wrong with the formatting of the problem message. Some mail programs are fussier than others on the HTML standards. As a workaround, you can save the message (File, Save As), but give it an .HTM extension rather than the default .EML or .NWS extension (e.g. type MESSAGE.HTM for a file name). Then open the file in the Internet Explorer browser. You will see the e-mail header strung along the top of the page, but the rest of it will display as intended. If in the Save As box, you use the Save As Type drop down list and select "Text (*.txt)" rather than "Mail (*.eml)", you won't get the mail headers and the display will look cleaner.
