----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: DotNetRanji Message 3 in Discussion Hello Shitalpdesai, Your code has a problem. You have to call the accept changes after calling the update i.e da.Update(dt, "Region") //First call the update dt.Tables(0).AcceptChanges() // then call the accept changes. The reason is when u call the acceptchanges for a table all the current row version will replace the original row version and hence all the rows in the table will have UnChanged state so your dataadapter.update will have no rows for it to process. When u call the update first after adding a new row. The new row will have a Added state and hence the dataadapter will process this row using its InsertCommand and will update your underlying database/table. Pls let me know if u have any more queries. Thanks, Ranjith Kumar .S Span System Corporation. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of shitalpdesai Sent: Thursday, August 18, 2005 1:40 PM To: BDOTNET Subject: Problem in Dataset.AcceptChanges ----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET ----------------------------------------------------------- From: shitalpdesai Message 1 in Discussion hello friends, i trying to insert one record in sql database table using dataset.acceptchanges, but i am not able to do so. i have given my code below, please tell me whats wrong in this.
