Hi satheesh, smith, I'd also worked around this prob last night. I'd got the 
same problem as satheesh... whatz the difference in using "*" and "Field_Name1, 
Field_Name2" in the select statement?... if only "Field_Name1 and Filed_Name2" 
are the columns of "Table1"   pls explain your work around...   regds, Uvaraj
