----------------------------------------------------------- From: Varad_RS Message 56 in Discussion Visual Studio 2005 - Code Definition View --------------------------------------------------------- In VS 2005 C# IDE, you can find a new sub-menu Code Definition View under the "View" Menu. Selecting the View | Code Definition View (or pressing CTRL+W,D) allows you to view the source code for any programmatic element (class, member, etc.) that you click on the text editior. Just select the element name and double clik on it, the declaration of the element is displayed on the Code definition window. For types where the source code is available in your solution, the Code definition window will show the source code. For types where source code is not available, the definition window will show the type metadata as source. This is a useful feature for developers working on big projects having huge LOC. Now its not required to set a bookmark and go to definition view and come back to the line of code by selecting the next/previous bookmark buttons.
