Hi Hunk
 
I tell you one thing man that in case you use ASP.NET Validator controls it 
depends upon the control used
 
IF you use Custom Validator (THat is generally used to check for duplication of 
important details such as email address from DB)- It uses server side 
validation only.
 
Else
 
Required Field Validator, Compare Validator, Range Validator, Regular 
Expression Validator all work in Client side only.
 
So if  your validation stuff can be completed using this then no need to write 
up separate javascript then..
