Create the table in aspx page and make the table as server side control
(runat=server). Assume that "Table1" is the server-side table in .aspx page.
The following is the code to generate DataTable.
DataTable dt = new DataTable();
bool isColumnHeaderCreated = false;
foreach(TableRow tr in Table1.Rows)
{
if(!isColumnHeaderCreated)
{
//We assume that the first row is always header
foreach(TableCell tc in tr.Cells)
{
dt.Columns.Add(tc.Text);
}
isColumnHeaderCreated = true;
}
DataRow dr = dt.NewRow();
for(i = 0; i < tr.Cells.Count; i++)
{
dr[i] = tr.Cells[i].Text;
}
dt.Rows.Add(dr);
}
