Hi,
<o:p> </o:p>
I have a situation were in I need to get the client information like the
Regional info and pass this to the server and build the business logic based on
the location of the user.. Currently, I am using JavaScript to find the user
location.. However, I am having problems passing this information to the server
so that I can apply the business logic..
Please note that the location cannot be a user input and it should be
automatically identified when the user enters the URL..<o:p></o:p>
I tried putting a blank page and redirecting the page on load to the actual
page on ‘page load’ event .. however.. since it is a client script I donnot get
the value in the ‘page load’ event to pass it on.. I donnot want the page to
load completely and the redirect to the location with a timer.. Is there an
alternative approach for this?
Is there a way to pass the client info thru the httphandler and intercept the
httpheader information ? if , so please let me know how I can do it.. Else ,
please suggest me a solution how I can handle the above situation
<o:p> </o:p>
Note: I am using this in Sharepoint webpart .. FYI
<o:p> </o:p>
Thanks in advance,
<o:p> </o:p>
Dan
