----------------------------------------------------------- From: Dhanaventh Message 1 in Discussion Hi, I have a situation were in I need to get the client information like the Regional info and pass this to the server and build the business logic based on the location of the user.. Currently, I am using JavaScript to find the user location.. However, I am having problems passing this information to the server so that I can apply the business logic.. Please note that the location cannot be a user input and it should be automatically identified when the user enters the URL.. I tried putting a blank page and redirecting the page on load to the actual page on page load event .. however.. since it is a client script I donnot get the value in the page load event to pass it on.. I donnot want the page to load completely and the redirect to the location with a timer.. Is there an alternative approach for this? Is there a way to pass the client info thru the httphandler and intercept the httpheader information ? if , so please let me know how I can do it.. Else , please suggest me a solution how I can handle the above situation Note: I am using this in Sharepoint webpart .. FYI Thanks in advance, Dan ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
