ya this one approach,for that we can use     <WebMethod(), 
SoapHeader("myHeader")> with user name and password.    But  my requirement is  
hide the particular method itself for that particular vendor.   eg:-   
<Webmethod()> _ Function test1() End Function    <Webmethod()> _ Function 
test2() End Function    <Webmethod()> _ Function test3() End Function   vendor 
1 should able to access only test1 and test2  vendor 2 should able to access 
only test2 and test3   such that when vendor1  consume the webservice should 
able to access only test1 and test2  /// for vendor2   Thanks in advance
