----------------------------------------------------------- From: mag_mani Message 1 in Discussion Hi My requirement is like, tbl :=id ,column1 ,column2 I wrote update trigger in such a way when column1 is updated, then it should update coloumn1 of same table (based on some where condition). What i thought since column1 is updated on trigger action, again same trigger will execute to update column1 and so on .. it would have ripple effect But in my case trigger executes and updates column but inturn doesnt invoke same trigger (which i expect )and so on.
