When you say, it should support multi-lingual, do you mean that if data is 
saved in English, it could be read in say, japanese? If that's the requirement, 
then its a difficult one as Conversion of one language to other is really not 
possible completely. Its only to certain degree of success.     You can however 
try the following: 1. Keep a key lang_id for each entry so that u know, to 
which language it belongs. 2. U can try Phonetic conversions (which some DB and 
some 3rd party tools support) 3. Use Resource files for ur UI realted
