Hi,
I feel this work around might not serve the
purpose, because when the message box is open, we can still modify the url
behind, close the webform etc. Ideally this shouldn't be the case. When the
Message box is open, the parent form must be inactive. You might need to use
showModalDialog with server controls or go for client side Alerts.

hi,
Add reference to
system.windows.forms.dll
then imports this namespace in your webform, in
any click event
add the following code,
MessageBox.Show("Welcome Message", "Caption",
MessageBoxButtons.OK, MessageBoxIcon.Information,
MessageBoxDefaultButton.Button1,
MessageBoxOptions.DefaultDesktopOnly)...
it will work fine..........
