Hi Deepak,                   Using Ajax is a solution but in my case i coudnt 
go for that...i need to find a solution with the existing dotnet features...as 
i explained before my problem is even when the parents sessions goes out the 
child remains open...when the user tries to do some actions in the parent page 
it redirects to the login page but the child remains open....some how i need to 
close the child also...problem over here the parent doesnt identify the 
child...   any idea for this.....   with regards Rashid
