Hi,

It is upto the web browser to decide whether the PDF is opened inline or a 
'Prompt to Download' (which is again subject to Windows XP or similar security 
prompt) is shown.   The preference, I guess, is saved from Acrobat reader too.

And I don't think that would be a difference for us since anyway the file is 
saved to some location. When viewing inline it is saved in 'Temporary Internet 
Files'.
