Hi Akshay,   All you need to access SQL Server remotely is just by knowing the 
remote server's IP address and port number.   the default instance port number 
is 1433.   For example: Your connection string would be    VB   Try   Dim cn as 
New SQLConnection("data source="123.34.2.1:1433;userid="Your SQL User ID or 
Windows ID";password="Your    Password";Database="Northwind")   Catch    
msgBox(SQLException)     End Try   C# Try SQLConnection cn = new 
SQLConnection("data source="data source="123.34.2.1:1433;userid="Your SQL User 
ID or Windows ID";password="Your Password";Database="Northwind");   Catch 
string str ="Error"; MessageBox.Show(str).ToString();   Hope this helps :)
