hi vijay kishan,
first you need install the winFx runtime and then Visual studio 20005
extensions for handling the .net 3.0 project templates/types.
Hope this would help a little bit.

Hi,
I have been trying to install .Net 3.0 in my system. My sys already has
vs.Net 2005 - .Net 2.0 installed on MS XP professional version 2002 with sp2.
Please give me the list of downloads along the links which provides full
downloads not bootstrap. All the installation order also.
Any help will be highly appreciated. I need the runtime, vs 2005 support for
.Net 3.0

1) First I downloaded the .Net framework 3.0 full redistributable package setup
from the below link and installed.

After installing i am able to find some folders related to .Net
3.0 in my system.
2) I came to know to use .Net 3.0 using VS 2005 I need to download another
setup. I got the same from the below link.

When I tried installing i got the following message:
" Setup has detected a prerequisite is missing. To use MS visual studio code
name 'orcas' - community technology preview - Development tools for winfx you
must have the winfx runtime and restart setup"
3) Now I downloaded the winfx runtime from the below link
http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/A/5/8A55319c-8A7B-4108-BD00-9EAD7E4F582A/winfxrc.exe
but while installing it throwed "Error while installing and setup removing
installation files"

Am I dowloading the right setups Please guide me.
