----------------------------------------------------------- From: GauravK_MS Message 1 in Discussion Hi, I am sure you have used exception handling (EH) at some point in application development. As much as EH is expressive in terms of how to handle an unexpected situation, it also has certain nuances when EH interoperability comes into picture, considering we have (and end up using, implicitly or explicitly) various EH systems like Structured Exception Handling (SEH), C++ EH, Managed EH (of CLR). In the article, Lessons in Exception Handling, I attempt to discuss two such interoperability issues and explain how they can affect application behviour (e.g. resource cleanup). You can read the article at http://devauthority.com/blogs/gkhanna/archive/2007/05/13/43816.aspx and also find the link to its PDF and source code (VS 2005 solution) at the same URL. As always, comments are welcome Thanks!
