----------------------------------------------------------- From: AlpeeJain Message 1 in Discussion Hi, I have an application which gets the timezone details by accessing 'Index" subkey in the location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones\Eastern Standard Time. This woks fine in Windows XP and other OS for that matter except VISTA. I found out that there is no subkey by the name "Index" in the above location present in VISTA OS, do you guys have any idea whether microsoft has removed the "index" subkey from the above location in VISTA.
