Hi;
Try the following solutions. You got this problem because of the reason that
the debugger unable to attach with IIS. The reason is you might have not set
Anonymous access to WebApplications folder in IIS.
1.) Right click on the properties of the WebApplication folder in IIS
Webapplication --> Properties --> Directory Security --> Annonymous access and
Authentication
Click on Edit and Enable anonymous access check box and click on ok and apply
2.) Internet Explorer --> Internet Options --> Security --> Local Intranet -->
Custom Level --> At the extreme bottom you will have User Authentication
Section.
Select Automatic logon with current username and password radio button.
Click on Ok and apply..
Now try to debug it will work fine.
If you have problem in debugging through web service calls. We need to
unregister a DLL called "csm.dll" Which will be located in "C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VS7Debug\csm.dll"
using the following command in command prompt/Run Window
RegSvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VS7Debug\csm.dll"

Hi
I've windows XP and installed dot net 1.1. Whenever i create a new
application (either windows or web) and try to debug that i am getting a
message :
Error while trying to run project :Unable to start debugging
The debugger is not properly installed.Run setup to install or repair the
debugger.
Pls let me know the possible causes and resolution to this.
