Silverlight are arguably the 2 biggest shifts in technology in the last 15
years. In this talk, you will get an understanding of the new WPF and
Silverlight platforms from Microsoft. You will learn which types of
applications you should build with the platforms, how the platforms compare,
the major benefits of each and the differences between choosing once platform
over the other. You will also gain an understanding of how Infragistics adds
value to each platform, and how to use Infragistics grid, carousel and charting
controls in the WPF platform and how Infragistics plans to add even more value
to the Silverlight platform.
Jason Beres is the Director of Product Management for Infragistics, the world's
leading publisher of presentation layer tools. Jason is also one of the
founders of Florida .NET User Groups, he is founder of the New Jersey .NET User
Group, he is a Visual Basic .NET MVP, he is on the INETA Speakers Bureau and is
on the INETA Board of Directors. Jason is the author of several books on .NET
development, is an international speaker, a frequent columnist for several .NET
publications, and keeps very active in the .NET community.
