----------------------------------------------------------- Hi Friends, In a recent User Group Meeting there was a special member who attended, His name is Dilip Patro. he is a disabled person, but still very active and got thrust to learn new things and work. Right now he is looking for some help in executing his project and here is the detail in his own words.. "I, Dilip Kumar Patro, met with a gruesome road accident in 1997, that paralyzed me neck down. Today, although physically I am confined to my bed with less mobility, I now use a powered wheel chair to move about out side that helps to fulfill my aspirations in establishing myself as an independent individual to go forward in life. I was appointed earlier in a MNC,Bangalore, as senior engineer, Gradually I improved and requested to the Co. for re-appointment. I'm performing better in my movements and I have started doing certain activities on my own with little or no assistance (Due to a strong will power to become the person I once was). Since 2 years, I'm working from my hometown . Presently, Again I request them to give me an opportunity to work in my Domain i.e. .Net & SQL SERVER. Got an assignment on the Intranet website to study the existing and also a proposal for a new interactive intranet site. I'll be happier if anybody can guide me on ASP.NET. This concept is totally new to me, if I can get a proper orientation, I can do better in a given time. I need to update on the above and any tools that I'm not aware for the cutting edge technology in web development in content management systems/ web portal. I earnestly look forward to hearing from you and a positive response from you will give me strength to live and face life boldly.
