Providigm (formerly Nursing Home Quality) is looking to hire a full-time Ruby on Rails developer to join our expanding team.
About us: * Providigm is a rapidly growing small company that creates web-based quality assurance and analytics software for the health care industry. * We do most of our development using Ruby on Rails, JQuery and RSpec, with a decent sprinkling of Cucumber, Capybara, CoffeScript, UNIX and R. We use Macs and choose our own development environments. * We’ve used retrospectives to evolve our use of agile development methods and now use a Scrum-Kanban hybrid. * We throw a lot of Nerf darts at each other, enjoy daily trivia questions and occasionally play somewhat tasteful pranks. * Our office is located in the Denver Tech Center. The kind of developer we’re looking for: * Relatively experienced with the different layers of a Rails application. * Passionate about creating good code and successful products. * Understands the value of good automated tests and code that can be easily understood by others. * Thrives in a team setting and not afraid to speak up when you see something that can be improved.
